Please join me and Mocha on our walk around the village this afternoon.
Now I’ve come round the west end of the village. This is the guardian of a garage, I think.
Abandoned gardens like this one aren’t uncommon.
Heading down the north side now.
I’m walking on footpaths mostly.
It’s high rose season now.
And look! Henri IV is in his place waiting for us again.

Loved walking with you and Mocha today! 😘
I’m so glad to be receiving your blog posts here in my regular email inbox (Catherine.Clement.HI@gmail.com) This is the address I used to sign up to follow your blog, so that worked. But I’m confused by this message showing my old junk Mail address – email@example.com – as where the message was sent to, even though it came to my regular account from which I signed up.
Your post went to both of my emails, so it’s not a big deal. But if there’s an easy way for you to delete the cateclement address, that would be great!
Let’s talk again soon… Love ❤️ C

What a wonder walk Eve! And such wonderful pictures you have taken and shared!
It was sweet to see your Henri IV waiting for you when you and Mocha arrived home.
My son Henry is arriving here tomorrow having driven with his 15 year old Beagle from his home in Boulder, Colorado! As you may know, my other son Nathan lives in London with his wife and 1 year old daughter!
Such lovely photos, thank you for sharing them . 🥰
Eve, I love receiving your blog via my email, works so much better for me than SM.
I so enjoyed walking with you as you beautifully reveal our paradise. 🥰🙏🏼💐
Love you, such gorgeous pictures.
Eve would you please send me you street address?
Much love to Tom!
Thanks. I’ll send it by email.
It kinda looks like a type of thistle. Hairy and prickly looking. You need a Flower book for France!!
Love ya, Carol
The first one is a foxtail. Very nasty. The term refers to the kind of seed dispersal arrangement it has. Lots of different grasses have them. Dog owners are very aware of them.
Hi dear Eve!
A young friend of mine might be traveling to France in the fall, would love you to meet each other! His name is Colin, I just forwarded your last email with photos of your walk.
Love to you and Tom!
We’d be happy to connect. I’ll look for his message.
