Radiance is basic to life.

It’s in the ceiling of this African house

and in this plant bursting through a crack in the concrete

but my favorite is the radiance of my daughter’s smile on Mother’s Day.
Seeing the small is called Clarity.
Keeping flexible is called Strength.
Using the shining Radiance,
You enter the Light,
Where no harm can come to you.

It’s so much fun and so meaningful to find areas of commonality. Radiation from a single point is a phenomenon common to biology, geology, music, and so many other parts of our existence. I particularly liked the radiance of the lowly weed and the radiation of architectural elements in the roof of the Ugandan house.
I liked collecting the pictures too. I took them all over the past year, that’s why Istanbul and Uganda are there.
